Making A Difference

The health and quality of Highlands Hammock State Park depends on the assistance and support of citizens like yourself.  Individuals have the power to ensure the preservation of the wildlands in the park and the quality of the visitor's overall experience.

If you love the outdoors and the many wonderful activities available in the “Crown Jewel of Highlands County—our beautiful Highlands Hammock State Park”, you may want to join the Friends of Highlands Hammock State Park (FOHH). The Citizens Support Organization raises funds for park improvements that help to make it a special place. We take great pride in hosting Music in the Park Concerts, the annual Turkey Trot 5K, the CCC Festival, tram rides, and many other projects. We also operate the Hammock Inn Camp Store.

The CSO is made up of people like you who wish to have an active role in our park. Being a Friends of the Park member is a rewarding
experience, and we welcome additional members to continue our efforts. Please contact Andrew Joughin at email address:  andrew.joughin@gmail.com for additional information.
